It's the follow-up on the first article I wrote about it in September 2015.
And it's about the Cairo metro system once again. The other day I took the metro to Downtown and as I was waiting in the station for the appriaching train I noticed something compleatly new: TV-screens!
Yes, there were 2 screens on each side of the station, 4 in total, they were hanged high under the ceiling and were showing photos of some men. I could not really understand who they were or what was their importance, but I will do some investigation and let you know. It very innovative for Egypt. I was wondering if it could be used for train times, but no point for that in Cairo and "Cairo time":)
Second news from the metro is that now every perron in each station has a security police. They look bored and have no chairs to sit on, but it is a great effort to offer some kind of protection in case of public trouble.
Last but not least there is another quite impressive security measure in the stations for about half a year

When I first saw the long line waiting to scan and enter the metro, I played dirty and quickly ran in from the other side, the exit side. Noone caught me. But NOW! They learnt a lesson with people like me and have placed another standing security police to the exit-side of the tunnel.
I even found a way out of this one:) There are usually many entry tunnels to the metro and I now take the small side entries, not the big main one. Less people and shorter scan-lines.
Any way I think all of these are great efforts to organize the city more.
So let's see what kinf of progress is coming up next, stay tuned!

Turvalist elu sulle seal Egiptimaal!
